Description

The Product Owner is accountable for maximizing the value of the product resulting from the work of every sprint. This role involves defining product goals, managing the product backlog, delivering the product value, and ensuring clear communication between stakeholders and the development team. The Product Owner is deeply embedded in the Agile Team and is responsible for making timely decisions to guide product development based on business objectives, user needs, and feedback from internal/external customers.

Responsibilities

● Own, maintain, and prioritize the product backlog.
● Write user stories and acceptance criteria; refine backlog regularly for sprint readiness.
● Define and communicate product vision, roadmap, and goals.
● Continuously re-prioritize based on feedback, requirements, and team capacity.
● Perform as POC for product-related inquiry, discussion, and decision.
● Collaborate with stakeholders to gather input and manage clear expectations on product increment delivery.
● Align development with business strategy and manage feature dependencies, product-related changes.
● Decide release scope and schedule; ensure releases align with business value.
● Participate in Scrum events; set clear requirements, expectations & acceptance criteria on the tickets.
● Work with Scrum Master, Tech Lead, DevOps, and QA to ensure smooth releases after every sprint.
● Create and maintain product documentation regularly and updated specifications for internal/external reference..
● Track KPIs, adoption metrics, customer satisfaction, and foster a culture of customer-centric, continuous delivery.
● Use analytics and feedback to drive product improvements based on the market and competitors..

Qualifications

● Master's/Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or Business Administration or equivalent work experience.
● At least 2+ years of software development experience and more than one year of product management experience.
● Strong understanding of Scrum and Agile principles
● Proven experience in managing product backlogs and writing detailed user stories
● Excellent communication, negotiation, and decision-making skills, and the ability to manage difficult situations smoothly with different stakeholders.
● Experience working with cross-functional teams (Design, Development, QA, DevOps) and able to provide insight into product prototype to Frontend developer.
● Ability to balance business needs, technical feasibility, and user value
● Familiarity with tools like Jira, Confluence, Figma, and product analytics platforms.
● A deep understanding of web technologies is preferred, and familiarity with CDN technology is a plus.
● Achievement in PMP, CSPO, or PSPO is preferred.
